Fleeting Sunset

A lovely sunset this afternoon but I was amazed just quickly it came and then just disappeared.
Perhaps in large you may be able to see the birds in the foreground taking off just as I got a bit too close.
As I was taking the shots, a Plover was in the grass a few metres away making a heck of a fuss. When I had a look over she had three tiny little chicks with her. I hope they survive - the poor things rarely do as civilisation has encroached on their land and they wander onto the roads and get run over.
I may try and blip them another day when I have a better lense with me.
