Made it ...

... after a bit of a struggle!

These Cyclamen coum flowers - an almost white form this time - have managed to struggle up through the dense growth of a spreading alpine phlox.  It's been a bit of  struggle all round today as although my fever broke during the night I still had little energy and was feeling decidedly ropey.  However after a gentle morning I decided that I was safe to drive the three hours to Stoke Mandeville lodge & stadium where we are spending the night before the girls try various sports here on Saturday.  Right now I have a sore head and I ache .... but it's nothing compared to yesterday and I can have a restful day here tomorrow to charge my batteries before next weeks excitement :-)
