Loch Achray
The best part of the day was first thing in the morning. Despite the hard frost, it was a perfectly sunny morning with no wind, which made it perfect weather for a stroll down to the loch.
It was stunning at around 7:45am. Not sure I have been up and out this early whilst I've been on holiday :)
Called round for my parents and we headed out to Loch Katrine, but were a tad disappointed to find that the boat doesn't run in the winter on a Tuesday.
Instead we had a lovely walk near the loch.
We headed into Callander for lunch and then over towards Aberfoyle in the afternoon.
Finally, Mum and I went up the road to the tiny Trossachs Church where we spent an enjoyable half hour watching the birds.
It was a fabulous day with fabulous weather.
