A Cold and Frosty Morning
It was not particularly cold this morning, only -3C in the garden, but the humidity was high and today’s blip was the result. Neither of our cars was particularly keen to start this morning, so having started mine I placed Mrs GOG’s battery on charge before we went out. Although cold it was a nice sunny day and promised to be very pleasant once everything had thawed, so we went into Bishop’s Stortford and took a long walk along the bank of the river Stort. During this walk we saw a lot of ducks, moorhens, swans and other birds and we start a fisherman catch a Pike, before returning it to the river; I got photographs of most of these things. On the way back I watched a narrow boat being very carefully maneuvered, to position it ready for mooring and decided that one of these pictures should be my additional picture for today. Subsequent to our walk, we stopped at the Rosey Lea café for a drink and cakes. Back home now, Mrs GOG’s car is off charge and mine is on charge as it is apparent that, even though my car starts, my battery is very flat. A very pleasant day overall, so far.
