Forest with Fallen Trees

Even when the trees have fallen, their limbs severed, their trunks sawed in half they still give life to the forest and it's creatures.

New greenery takes hold on places were green doesn't usually grow. Woodpeckers use a cut tree, skinned of its bark as a grained for acorns.

The shortened limbs remind me of paraplegic warriors. Still carrying on. Inspiring awe with their adaptability. Their new forms sculpted grace.
