OOPPS....WATCH THE WEB....

... out to give the garden a drink leading up to a real hot spell for a couple of days, and spotted this little guy (or mistress) enjoying the bright morning sun.

Tried to minimise the hi lights from the sun with a more dramatic look, and still maintain the colouring of the spider. This is a St Andrews Cross Spider a fairly common non aggressive spider here. Well recognised for the "cross" they meld into their web. This one only part way there.
