Cooking

God, but it's good to be back in a decent sized kitchen after the pokey little galley at the cottage, Tonight, I was making a big chilli for me, Dan, and the Minx, and a pasta bake for the spice-averse Abi. 

While they were all sat reading in front of the fire, I was happy cooking, listening to the playlist for this week's Electronic Ears, and rather missing having a glass of wine to sip while I chopped, fried, and simmered.

It's been just over six weeks now since I've had an alcoholic drink and I must say that for the most part, it's been surprisingly easy. Very easy, actually. Tonight, though, I really did fancy a glass of wine and, on reflection, I think I should have had one.
