Baby Shower!

We all had a lovely time, this afternoon, at Keri's baby shower (a tradition which has come over the USA I think).

She got lots of absolutely lovely presents, and a lot were hand made.  I made the elephant she's holding and also the quilt in the extra pictures.  Her sister made the most amazing nappy cake which made an fantastic centre piece on the table (also in extras)

Suzi had organised some great games which could be played while having our afternoon tea, one of which involved modelling a newborn out of Playdough.  You can see the results of this exercise in the extras too, the third baby in the row being the one that Keri herself modelled, which was a bit worrying as it looked like something that had crawled out of the sea!

Everybody had a lovely time and, Keri, you can have the baby any time now!
