The Lifeboat Men

We went over Selsey Lifeboat Station today, as Jeff is interested in documenting the history and forthcoming demolition of this station in the very near future (to be replaced by a shore based lifeboat)

We could have chatted for hours to these two men, one of which was 2nd Coxwain on the boat for many years.  He has so many stories to tell we could have been chatting for hours, if not days!  Between them they have saved many lives.
