I often hear the cattle chatting:

"Nearly time for dinner!"
"Yup, wonder what it'll be"
"Gosh I hope that it's straw"
"Didn't we have that yesterday?"
"Well yes but it's either straw or the grass we're standing on"
"Let's hope that it's straw then!"
