Worshiping the Sun

A stunningly beautiful day today.

This shag was soaking up the early morning sun  near the mouth of the Lower Moutere River when Blip mate and I arrived on our weekly bliphunt outing. There were plenty of birds  and reflections to choose from, but also plenty of sand-flies to discourage us from staying too long.

Due to a week away, I am only just getting to the Emma Davies lesson on B&W. I have never been a fan of this so have to learn what works and what doesn't.  I have put the same image, only in black and white, in the extras.  Does it work as  B&W?
