Learning process

The dusty elephants seem unimpressed with our heating progress. One stove was on all afternoon, went off during a post-curry movie (the very amusing 'Will' with all the Horrible History folk). Trying to turn it back on resulting in flames that rapidly reached 'scary' on the scale of flaminess, so we poked the off button repeatedly until it went away. But it was reassuringly warm when it was on....

In other news, a super sunny day, the school accountancy stuff (after some very hard conversations) is done for now and CarbBoy had a surprising revelation to share with us all tonight.

Also, I think the stove joiny-bit issue is solved after a very odd conversation with sentences constructed from English, French and Italian, and then some French emailing.
