Inside the Hedge Line

6.5C with a dull start then occasional showers through the day. Moderate SSW breeze.

An odd sort of day.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for a walk after lunch. Light rain so we went down the road to the shore road. On the way we passed a tractor which was towing some sort of ground breaking tool, although not a plough. It was working its way up and down the field just inside the hedge line.

We carried on along the shore road and went over the road bridge over the railway and down to the beach at Westhaven. The rain had more or less stopped. The tide was on the way out. We went along the beach to the fishermen's huts and came back along East Row then we crossed back over the road bridge and carried on round in a loop heading into Carnoustie and up the main road before turning along for home.
