I took Maeve the Deerhound to the Vet's for her 8.30am checkup on her recent dental work. She was shaking in the waiting room as usual but surprisingly was happy enough to go into the consulting room. The Vet was very pleased with how quickly she has healed. Good news !

Maeve and I went for our walk after lunch. We went up to the church then continued out along the country road towards Scryne. In the dip in the road just after the church this derelict cottage sits beside the burn that runs through Craigmill Den. I often think it is not derelict enough for derelict Thursday but I wanted to post an entry today, so here it is.

The farmer from Craigmill farm was ploughing again.

We walked on by Craigmill farm and went out to Scryne where we saw a good rainbow against a dark cloud. We turned down the road to the shore at Easthaven then came back along the cycle path which runs parallel to the shore road.
