Sleeping on the Streets

Shortly after I moved back, Denver passed an ordinance banning camping downtown in order to address the issue of homelessness. But does criminalizing homelessness really solve the problem? I say no. Most are not homeless by choice. A law preventing them from sleeping outside does no good if these people have no other option. It does not address the root of the issue.

Clearly, this man had no regard for Denver's ordinance.
