Blue Skies Over Loch Fyne

Definitely a late upload tonight.

We did get back late from Oban today where we had to buy a replacement heater for our tropical fish tank together with some new fish for the tank as the heater had overheated killing all but two of our fish. Quite shocking and just as well it happened today and not before our wee visitor left yesterday. We felt bad enough but she would have been devastated as she had become quite attached to them having had the job of feeding them every day.

It was very overcast with lots of low lying mist on the way up to Oban . I did get some atmospheric shots at Kilchurn castle with the mist curling round the mountain tops. Also stopped on the way back to investigate some wetland near the road. A heron flew out of the reeds. I was so annoyed as I didn't have the right lens on the camera. I fired off a few shots which were quite good although the heron was small in the frame.

Back home i got some late evening shots on the loch as the clouds lifted revealing patches of blue sky and lovely light from the sun creating reflections on the water.Also a rainbow. For some reason this wouldn't upload, took forever so I gave up and uploaded my second choice. At least it does have some blue sky which makes a change.
