Swan Song

Evening All,

Returned to the pond today, all the Heron's had gone 'cept one.....stood on top of the tree on the island trying to get comfortable...not sure if its nest building and think yesterday it was the family and in-laws round checking to see if he'd picked a decent enough place lol ;0)

He was a tad far to capture ......but I'll try find a way lol ;0)

The ducks came forth with the swans to eat what bread was left. Mini G managed to poke a hole in the bread bag and was eating it as we went....luckily its not too far or the ducks would have got not a crumb!! ;0)

Watched an amazing programme on David Peat, Documentary maker, film maker, photographer......amazing programme, amazing man. Sadly, gone now but what an inspiration. He could film people up close and personal and it was like they never knew he was there....some were so personal, filled his eye piece on the camera with tears but he filmed it magnificently. Incredible man.....wish I knew his secret. ;0)
