Ploughing
3.6C with a damp start then mostly dull. Light Westerly breeze.
Maeve the Deerhound and I went for a walk after lunch. We went down the road to the shore road. As we walked I could see the digger had finished the drain in the field and was being loaded on a low loader to be taken away. A tractor was waiting to do the towing. Further across the fields near Panbride House a tractor was ploughing. We wandered along the cycle path so I could try to get a few shots.
Update on the Panbride House police action from last Friday. The five men arrested near Arbroath were charged and are due to appear in court in Forfar.
We came back along the cycle path then went over the road bridge over the railway to Westhaven beach. The tide was almost fully out. We walked along the beach in the direction of Carnoustie then made our way up to the path and walked along the seafront to the golf courses.
We went along by the first tee and the eighteenth green on the Championship course, crossed the road by Simpson's golf shop, then went up to the High Street and came back along to rejoin our usual route up the main road and along to home.
