All the food I missed!

Some of my very favourite Norwegian foods which made up lunch on the go today. We got a lot done, went down to the police station and got my work permit sorted, which they granted for a year from today. They asked me where I planned to work and when I said Tåtøy the woman exclaimed "why would you come all the way from Canada to work on Tåtøy?!"

We also bussed to Kristiansand where Marius signed his work contract and we looked at the apartment we plan to rent. It's a small but nice 2 bedroom place not far from the University.

We met a duck at lunch that Marius named Elmo. It was extremely tame and Marius fed it pieces of flatbrød which it caught in mid air. I don't know who was more happy, Marius or the duck. It was just around the corner from where we live so hopefully it'll stick around. If it's a slow day tomorrow I might post a picture of Elmo.
