tooth

So, all week have been feeling terrible (lack of voice, sore throat etc.) and this morning woke up with such a pain in my throat and mouth that I knew I needed to see someone.  I wasn't sure if it was my throat (because only one side was sore), but it didn't feel like toothache either.  Also, because I don't live here full-time either, I don't have a doctor, so I didn't know what to do! I rang NHS 24 but they only take calls after 6pm (i.e. out of hours - so much for NHS 24!).  Tried a few doctors' practices nearby and they were all saying they couldn't take new patients (even temporary residents!).  Finally got through to someone on the phone who told me to go to the pharmacy in the first instance to determine if it's throat or tooth.  The pharmacist said it's probably an infection due to the work I got done on my tooth last week!  Phoned the dentist and they said they'd see me this afternoon.  So, it's not a throat infection, it's not an infection from the work he did last week, but it's my wisdom tooth playing up!!!!!  He gave me a 3-day course of strong antibiotics and told me to come back and see him on 18th for a check-up and to see if it needs taken out :(  Noooooo!!!

Home to bed!

This is Coquine on a packed bus on the way home from the dentist at rush hour with not a care in the world.
