Dr Durkin at 50

Today we were present on the occasion of Joolz Durkin's 50th. She is a force of nature, a hugely energetic and enthusiastic science teacher at my former school. Today she hired the Electric Palace, a small independent cinema in Hastings. We saw a Wallace and Gromit, followed by The Jungle Book. A great idea, people could bring their kids, for whom a free pick 'n mix was provided. We had Wensleydale and crackers, as well as a bar for the mums and dads.
