In Search of the White Stuff

So that Louisa could get in some practice prior to going out to Austria next month, I selflessly agreed to take her to the Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead. I've never done any skiing indoors on snow before and I have to say, it's a revelation! Soft forgiving snow. 160m slope, friendly and helpful staff, free hot drinks (not Glühwein alas), fairly busy but not uncomfortably so.
A really nice day out and brilliant prep if you're about to head off to the slopes.
