Door-latch

This door-latch is ,as you notice out of use . It was (is) an entrance (door) gate to a small and still existence vegetable garden. I think the door-latch has never been so nice and colourful as it looks today .
Funny .....When I made this photo somewhere hereabout in a small village , a man in a blue workman's outfit stood  a bit critical opposite me and he could not understand why I took this photo.....
