Nursing the Crack Willow

The crack willow is very common here  in this area  It grows best  in lower wetlands  and brooks where it sucks a lot of superfluous water . The branches of this tree should cut down every second year . If the branches getting to heavy ,by not cutting them ,the trunk will split into several parts and loses slowly its function  . Later in spring, all kinds of birds will make a  nest in the unregularly holes and splits of this decorative  tree .Years ago I discovered in  one of those trees even a young owl....
