Wetland wilderness

Had a wonderful outing today with five friends from the BBOWT Chilterns Group to Otmoor, the amazing area of marsh, pools, reedbeds and wet meadows just outside Oxford. It really doesn't feel like the centre of the country with great flocks of waders and wildfowl filling the sky and raptors quartering the vast landscape. We even had some sun...and a delightful pub lunch in Beckley.
