Cairo Unbirthday

Ayam is our regular driver for airport runs and so on. He celebrated his 40th birthday last Saturday and I brought a little something from Barcelona for him and his family as he picked me up at the airport at 3 am. My birthday is coming up in a few days after we leave and he wanted to reciprocate before then, so it was a lovely surprise to receive the little bag of goodies shown.

It was a lazy start to the day before Dd came into her school and I came in as well to say hello to one of my local clients whose daughter attends classes here . . . both her teachers so far have been trained by Dd!
