Almshouse Hill

Another uncomfortable night with my back - although not as bad as previous night!

Tried to get a GP appointment - but by the time I actually got through to speak to someone there were no appointments left - "try again tomorrow" I was told. Not a lot of help when I am ill now!

I did do another gentle walk with Finlay - a bit further than yesterday. It was lovely out in the sun. I even got to remove my hat!

This is the view up Almshouse Hill which runs from the square in the village up to the top part of the village. It is quite a climb - not sure I would fancy living in this cottage on the bend!

They used to run motor vehicle hill climbs up here - it must have been a nightmare.
