Lion Dance
Caught the very last bit of this lion dance. Shame. The lions are meant to chase bad luck away and bring prosperity. As a result, they are often found dancing and spitting mandarin oranges in business establishments around Chinese New Year. The acrobatic performance has now become a competitive sport with lions dancing, rather lifelike, on poles as high as a storey.
Spent the tail end of the day putting together my new Ikea shelf. I'm no good with a saw, but I hold my own with a hammer. A bit of macho carpentering today.
