Had a lovely morning out with one of my knitting buddies this morning. Seona lives in Kilmacolm so suggested we go for a coffee out at Quarrier's Village as there is a gorgeous wee coffee shop there, Three Sisters Bake. The cakes were amazing, we shared a slice of lime & courgette sponge and a piece of carrot cake, both were delicious.
After coffee we had a wander round the village, there is a lovely wee art gallery featuring the work of a local artist - Emma S Davis. I really liked her style and would hope to buy one some day.
This is the former Mount Zion Church which is now all flats.
I had a great morning and will definitely visit the three sisters again.
The rest of the day was spent spinning, knitting and walking with a brief visit to the garden centre so Freya could get craft supplies. She's been very productive this summer already, I can't wait to see what she produces once she has her classes at the art school!
