Maiden Castle, Dorchester.

Today I returned to Poundbury for a planning meeting for the forthcoming extension and refurbishment. The travelling today was wonderful, everything about the countryside seemed to have an extra sparkle, the trees, the skies, the rolling hills. After the meeting, I bought a sandwich and travelled five minutes down the road for lunch at Maiden Castle a huge Iron Age fort. (No buildings but huge earthworks) Here I went for a short walk and enjoyed a little of the scenery, here is a picture from part of the castle.
