St Botolph's church, Swyncombe.

Today we had a very early start, to take Peter to the airport as he's on holiday in Slovakia for a few days. On the way home, we stopped at Swyncombe, famous for the Snowdrops at this time of the year. However, they are not quite out yet, I don't blame them as it was very cold! So, we had a quick look in the Norman church of St Botolph's. This shot is looking towards the altar which, I learnt today, is an 'Apse' - a semi circular recess covered with a vault, or dome.
