ICE CREAM AT NARDIINI'S

Today was the first day we have been free for weeks.  Not only that but it was so blessed with sunshine we decided to spend our 'Date Day' in Largs.  We got a mile out of the village when a tyre burst. This was no reason for girning - the sun was warm, the RAC man was there within 30 minutes, lots of people stopped to wish us well and I had the Professor for company - it is impossible to be sad or frustrated for long with this man. 

So instead we had a local walk to see our horsey friends, lunch in the local cafe and a chance to catch up on various exigencies.
