Gougane Barra

Had a terrific day today driving around Co. Cork.

The weather is very changeable, but this hasn't spoilt the day at all. The scenery is spectacular, and all the towns around here are beautiful. Not a McDonalds or a Starbucks in sight. It's how I remember England when I was a boy. Busy high streets, lots of different shops, restaurants and cafes, and none of the bland, franchised, crap you get these days.
