More birds

I think these are house sparrows?  The one on the right is the first bird that has spent any time perched on the step of the bird feeder; the other birds either ignore this feeder or take a seed and fly away.  You can see how really wet and windy it is.  I'm surprised the birds didn't have motion sickness.  I had to open the window to take the shot as I couldn't see through it. The extra shot shows the markings more clearly.  The bird identifier site didn't mention anything about yellow markings on the back.
