Private Fishing

After yesterday's torrential rain, the Little Avon River was full and very fast flowing. Tomorrow, Storm Imogen threatens us with further flood-worthy amounts of water and strong winds. It's our turn, I guess. Good time to paint the hall, I say.

Today also included a naming ritual for a young friend of the family, and when we got home there was the heron... of course I went straight for the long lens - which in this case was far too long, he was so close! Ah well, see the extra. He'll be back, I'm sure.
