Future Fine Wine

It is such a relief to have a day of cooler weather. Around lunchtime Maisie and I drove out into the country to visit friends Rachel and Richard. They live on a vineyard and grow grapes for the Oyster Bay label. Maisie loved being out in the country and joined Rachel and me for a leisurely walk in and around the vineyard. It was a very exciting place for a pup to dash around in smelling new smells. She is such a good puppy in that she comes back straight away when called. Mind you, the treat bag is quite an incentive. We have a "clicker" and I have borrowed a library book on dog training using a clicker. It looks very interesting but no doubt will need some dedication to get the best from such training. However we left the clicker at home today and allowed Maisie to run free. She looks such a trick with her long curly coat flying out in the breeze as she scampers along. We are so glad to have her in our lives.
