Cherry almond cake

Followers will know that occasionally this journal features food items. Today Louisa has baked a cake. Like a Bakewell tart, but without the pastry.

Jenny and Graham, who have been here for 10 days, are bound for Glasgow tomorrow with Isabella. We are having coq and bull as a celebratory dinner this evening.
