Poinsettia
When I came to do my blip this afternoon I did not realise just how poor the light levels were until I started taking a few shots. I ended up moving a poinsettia plant close to dining room full length window to get the best light and even then I was shooting at 3200 ISO in order to take a reasonable hands held shot. I don't think I have ever shown any image taken at such a high ISO before and am reasonably pleased with the end result especially as I did not use any nice reduction software on it. This poinsettia is well past its best but still adds a splash of colour to our dining room. I always think the petals of the poinsettia look almost artificial as their texture looks a bit like velvet.
