Tranquility

This s the scene that greeted me when I took the dogs for their afternoon walk today. The sea was in and there was scarcely a ripple on it so it make a marvellous mirror reflection for the pinky hues of the sunset. The amber lights in the windows of the house to the right of the picture are actually reflections of the setting sun. Somehow the contrast between this scene and the busy narrow streets of Valletta could not be starker. It's nice to explore somewhere new and vibrant but it oh so nice to come home as well !
