Three dioceses represented

It was fantastic to catch up, even if it was too short, before this morning's ordination. I was there to cheer on a chap who was a student in the parish where I was a curate.
The added bonus was meeting up with old college mates. Particularly ones who have travelled some significant distances to support their friends, as they embark on ordained life.

Being out in Geelong, which is almost 90minutes to reach Melbourne Uni, I really missed catching up with this funny, wonderful, kind and thoughtful trio after I graduated before them in late 2012. Slowly, we are finding our own ministries, and now we get to catch up at these type of big gatherings.
