This is a more sensible thing to be using for Saturday's activities, so it was reinstated this evening ready for resumption tomorrow. The spare is at least proven to work and to be commutable-on, even if the things the snagging threw up are not yet fixed, pending vendor replacement of the duff components. I was sort of dragging out the continued daily use of the spare because of these, which just slightly take the edge of this as the preferable device, though it's still much comfier about the bars and less overlappy about the toes.
