Instead of their usual thing of leaving the parcel at the local post office (one mile away, rather than the sorting office's two or the Parcelfaeces' depot's nine) but omitting the 50p charge (presumably due to not being asked to leave it at the post office) the deliverychumps left what was thankfully a well-sealed parcel containing nothing edible or absorbent in the landfill bin, rather than the empty brown bin, the cleaner recycling bin or the empty blue box. They could have gone one worse by putting it in the food recycling bin but they'd have had to fix the lid (destroyed by too many flingings-back onto the pavement) first, which was probably too much effort.
