Neues Museum

We did a couple of visits I'd never done before today. First up was the Museum der Dinge, which was a pretty amazing experience. We gave the students a break for lunch down in Kreuzberg then headed on to the Neues Museum.

The collection was in there was fantastic, and just as fantastic was the building which was redesigned by David Chipperfield in the 80s after being left as effectively a shell after the war.

A really good day, now the students have the weekend to themselves for a bit of exploration and it's the same for us. Our plans include a Flea Market, David Bowie's house, possibly Hansa studios and most likely the Lego shop too.
