TWO ORCHID FLOWERS
This is my contribution for the Flower Friday Challenge hosted by BikerBear.
Of course I had hoped for a nicer day than yesterday, but not a chance.
On my window sill looking into the Weser valley I have two plants with flowers. One is an orchid, that since some weeks had lots of flowers after a period of rest. The flowers are little and I sometimes try to take a picture of these, to no avail till now. I like this flower twin, which I did not on purpose captured this way. The other plant has little flowers too, it is a cyclamen also with lots of flowers. I had found it lying in a little grass field, obviously disposed of by someone who had lost faith in her capacities to flower. Thankfully she now glorifies from time to time.
Then I have four mini cacti there, in colourful pots, I think they are alive, but they don't bother to grow, let alone flower.
As I said the day was miserable weatherwise, and again no walk therefore.
My haiku:
Let's look into our
Faces, search in our eyes
Glimpses of hope there
And the proverb:
As many eyes as Argus.
(Argus in fable, had a hundred eyes)
