A WATERDROP WITH A DESIGN INSIDE
Just hanging on a leaf of a branch of the blue fir in our garden.
I used my three extension tubes for a more detailed view.
The Insurance person came to look at the dammage of the flooding, he noticed that there was no blockage in the house and suggested we should call the drain experts. They came early in the afternoon. They did their job very well, but there is probably a stoppage somewhere down the slope.
They probably will come tomorrow again and look into the tube with a camera.
When they were gone, I suggested to Piet Hein to leave the house, drive to Beverungen. Set our minds upon something other than sewage, take somewhere (the weather was very pleasant) photos and also ask advice for the buying of a new old car.
Our old one cannot be imported because of the lacking of a device that is not obligatory in the Netherlands, but is in Germany and too expensive to insert.
We stood by the Weser river that looks so different from our own town.
Large fields of snow still on the hills there. So Piet Hein could take his shot.
Back home we drank tea, felt a bit exhausted and slept for half an hour.
My haiku:
Let's find some treasure
A beautiful universe
Hidden in the drop
And the proverb:
To come from Tripoli.
(= To vault and tumble with activity. It was, I believe, first applied to the tricks of an ape or monkey, which might be supposed to come from that part of the world))
