Let the inane take the strain

The Dizzle and I went to work by train today. Talked politics and did crosswords. Coming home there was nice sunset but he spoiled it by pulling a silly face. There's a surprise.

As for the rest:

Work was a downer as we are so behind / overwhelmed. 

Did La Traviata at Guildford Odeon tonight, live from the Royal Opera House. Fab production, superb female lead. Spoiler alert: the men lack emotional intelligence, there are a few communication issues, and she gets consumption and dies. Not unlike La Boheme. Completely unlike Tosca although the heroine does have breathing difficulties - after jumping to her death as opposed to getting TB.

Wet wet wet for the weekend but I don't care I need a rest ...
