Burning brush ...

Dry this morning. The vet back to check the cows that got their TB test on Monday. They all passed ,so that's us clear for another 4 years (provided we don't buy in any cattle from areas with a 1 year testing period-i.e certain  parts of Wales ,England or Ireland)
The forestry lads here to make a start burning the piles of waste brush and wood in the woods we felled last year. This is so we can hopefully get them replanted in the next month or so. It was breaking my heart to see so much waste,but all the branches and off cuts are not commercially viable. The wind was from the West,so was expecting some phone calls about the smoke. Only 1 neighbour phoned to see if we were burning to the ground !
