Escape

We've all been at home today and by the afternoon my husband was seeking refuge to get a few things done, away from anyone and everyone.  Including his wife and child, I think.  

Solace was sought at the back of the house in the Braai area, known as 'Great Zim'.  I love it up there as it's cool and has a lovely calm atmosphere.  

I took Alex out for a walk, which is always lovely and the legs need a stretch every day, if nothing else to keep me sane.  

This evening we all went out to dinner at the neighbours house, which was lovely and I think did everyone a lot of good getting out for the evening.  Tomorrow we head to the Motopo's for a few days, we have what we think (hope) will be a nice lodge with a great view and all being well will have a braai tomorrow evening.  Always a great tonic.
