Groundhog Day

It's Groundhog Day and apparently Punxsutawney Phil didn't see his shadow this morning.  Spring is right around the corner, so the legend goes. 

Okay, it also happens to be the birthday of my colleague and friend, Johnny Mack.  Johnny (on the left) was honored today for his dedication to students and his vision for helping to create the Brooks Regional Training Center, which is the NW's premier home to special facilities serving the training needs of regional public safety professionals and students in emergency services, fire protection and criminal justice.  Happy birthday and congrats to Johnny!
