Progress

At work we spent several hours discussing what needed to be done and planned to meet a number of deadliness coming over the horizon.

Some could prove problematic so we wanted to explore how we could achieve change without alienating the support of the volunteers on whom we depend.

Also some exciting opportunities around leadership events.

Then an afternoon of documents and drafting and reading and discussions. Before we knew it it was 7pm at which point the security guards can come round the building to lock it up.

So packed up and headed home. After dinner, started (belatedly) on the marmalade. Removing the juice, departing the pith from the peel. The shredding the peel.

Our puppy has an interesting relationship with citrus fruits, often he will run away from zest. Tonight, however, he seemed more curious at what we were doing with the Seville oranges. Maybe because his name is Jaffa?

Peel now softening ready for the boiling tomorrow.
